About the Event
I've always said, "Music is one of the only things that activates all areas of the brain at once." Well, so does MOVEMENT!
Many dreams are broken. That is where we get the term, "Broken Brains." After a brain injury, we lose hope, think we are not good enough, never going to be able to do what we used to, and limit ourselves to opportunities all around us. What if through The Brain Bar Salon, we are able to create a new realm of possibilities around discovering, remapping, and owning our new life so that we are able to go out and create a life that is meaningful. We can create a new life instead of limiting ourselves to "Broken Brains." I know we can because I have been navigating my adventure on this new journey for the past 24 years after my brain aneurysm. I look forward to inviting experts with fresh perspectives for a dialogue that will help transform all of our own possibilities.
For this year 2022 of The Brain Bar Salon, we are bringing together all sides of the brain and creating a mind-expanding cocktail for you. Every other month we will post the date and the theme online and surprise you with who will be guest speaking.
